“They say that Denmark is the land of freedom, women can wear what they want, people can say what they want. That profit comes second and family comes first.
…..
But it feels like a prison. We made a big mistake…
Impossible to understand is… the Danish named as ‘Happiest People’, this makes no sense. They are not HAPPY. The Danes are so arrogant and think that they have the best of everything and all other lands are inferior.
We don’t think we will stay long in Denmark because it is pretty horrible and not what we expected. There is a lot of false and misleading publicity in Denmark.
….We are afraid to go out around the time of the Climate meeting in December, what if we get arrested? We are not afraid of the people who want to protest, or the anarchists but we are afraid of what will happen to us if we go out during that week. How bad is it going to be?
……
How come relatives in the US have more rights as citizens than we do in Denmark today?
How come?”
Someone posed me a valid question today. A Dane, of respectable age and standing, expressed the fact that protest was not an option in Copenhagen in December, due to FEAR. Not fear of thugs or ‘immigrant bands’ or the so called ‘Hells Angels’ but fear of the legal ramifications, i.e: getting arrested.
And fear of what will be done to parents, children and friends. Keep away say those who truly run CPH. Keep away and stay on your sofas.
Just a minute though, if they weren’t expecting guests, how come they have provided makeshift prisons?
And another question I have is: if you offer on a public forum, such as a blog, say, to pay something towards the fine of 6000kr any arrested person protesting (or walking by) in CPH receives…is that illegal? I mean, to OFFER in advance to support people unafraid enough to go down there and stand in the way and say:
“OY! HOW DARE YOU! THESE ARE OUR RIGHTS! NO I WILL NOT GO HOME AND SIT ON MY SOFA! I WILL STAND HERE AND SAY – How dare you?”
Just wondering.
*hastily*
I would never break the law, I am INNOCENT, and always, always, always do what the ruling forces and authorities tell me to do, because let’s face it, I can’t do anything from inside, so would never ever break any law and am 100% more law abiding than my many Danish norm and born neighbors. Because I am LAW ABIDING.
I value my freedom, so you won’t catch me at any protest about our rights being reneged, but still, I have to admit, I would OPENLY admire anyone who could prove to me they did go down.
This place is a bag o shite. And going so to the dogs it is unbelievable.
If the Danes at large don’t stand up now I swear, that will be the final straw.
They have stood by as their schools and hospitals close…and done NOTHING. Their civil responsibility is a joke. They are lazy boneheads who do nothing.
I keep hearing from so called ‘moderate Danes’ who are fighting the Dane Extremists, and these moderates tell me that there is work being done – but HEY, no change on the horizon!
Please, prove me wrong about Denmark and the Danes. I am basically begging you. I love my L shaped sofa and it is going to be difficult to ship. I complain about the food here, but you know what, you can live off risengrød – and it works out quite cheap. The Danes dress like uh…eachother, but at least that means I get to be special.
You know, I am also lazy, we’ve invested a lot in Denmark, I was hoping for a return, so go on: prove me wrong you lazy asses, get off your ugly L shaped sofas and DO SOMETHING AMAZING. For once in your miserable and oh so predictable lives.
LOL, yeah, haha, like anyone is going to do anything. You will leave it up to the teenagers having an existential crisis to get arrested. Sorry, I made a mistake when I began to beg…so, go back to sleep Denmark.

“None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.”
Sorry to say so about my own country, but I think it contains much truth!
And Philip Jones (RIP) wrote it so brilliantly here:

But I still find hope sometimes, so pls don’t give up!
