Get used to it: reactive policing.

an article that roughly translates as the police having the power to find out who ’stands behind’ a really rather harmless video about anger and outrage and taking it one step more into the realms of street fighting (well, they make protest illegal anyway, so why not be hung for a sheep as well as a lamb? you gonna be arrested and fined for simply being NEAR anyone who APPEARS to be unresting).

We are all going to suffer for this, but you know, from my armchair,  I am losing patience myself.  I urge all the Danish pensioners (a group that has in the past rallied around to protest) to get themselves down to CPH on the relevant days and do some serious pensioner protesting.

 

Old people are great at protests because if they get hit with a stick or carted off, it is fifty times more impressive than if a teenager gets hit, or a non western person or a person in a mask or a hood.

So I say again: RALLY ROUND YOU WHITE AND WISPEN HAIRED LOT!  YOU’VE GOT SO LITTLE TO LOSE AND WE ALL NEED TO KEEP OUR VISAS AND OUR STEADY LITTLE JOBS!

I so so hope that the pensioners come out in force.  I so so hope that something happens, something creative and wonderful, and hopefully, non violent.

Come on everybody, get your thinking caps on, every little helps!

And how to make a protest that will be globally recognized without hurting people?  That is key.

But the very saddest thing about this is that 99% of Danes are gonna do dickshit, which is why the cellars and attics of CPH are packed to the rafters with imported braves who have to make the great stands for civil rights in Europe alone.  I suspect.
